Why do people say Jews control the media and international banking?

I don’t get it? So what if they punch higher than their weight class as an ethnic minority? Why is this even talked about? Why not just start a media company or bank and do it better than the people you complain about?

Because to a high degree, they do. It's not the result of a grand conspiracy, though; just natural selection- raise the selection pressure, and only the most fit will survive. Make the criteria for fitness being smart, ruthless, and wealthy, and after just a few pogroms, you'll wind up with people who fit that mold. Add in a willingness to defy the Pope (since you're automatically not a "good Christian"), and you've got a recipe for success.

As to why people complain, it's pretty much just bigots. They don't really WANT control, they just want to hate.
