What could any president possibly do at this point?

* President's can't repeal 200+ years of federal acts claiming power over everything to be effectively used by the un-elected and effectively uncontrollable bureaucracy.

* President's cannot do anything beyond their mere 4-8 years as chief executive.

Joe crossed rubicon with the raid on his predecessor and challenger, a new precedent has been set which will guide the choices of every future president in whether knowing what their successor might do regardless of what they choose to not do.

Unless that power is totally abolished sooner or later the republic will fall when one of them decides they can't risk it and chooses to not to step down peacefully.

I don't think a therapist would help a person who doesn't understand the inherit temporary nature and limits of Presidential power.

A president can guild a goverment for a short time but ultimately the only permanent thing they do is demonstrate to their successors (if they permit a successor) what they too might do, or in Joe's cases what their own successor might to them if they give up power.
