Why is it that for the party that claims to be against racism republicans act like the slave owners of the old south when confronted about racism?

They don't really claim to be against racism anymore. Instead, when it is brought up they just do some whataboutism to suggest democrats are also racist, and so discourage people from thinking there is any hope in voting to styme racism in any way. Republicans can only ever win by discouraging people from voting democrats, after all - as they are well aware no one is stupid enough to vote republican based on merit.

Politics are stupid in my opinion because the politicians make policies that favor the donors and lobbyists and it isn't just one party that does this they all do it. Never trust the government to solve problems you wouldn't trust preschoolers with.
