World wide in lots of countries there are protests in support of the girls and women in Iran that are trying to get rid of the law that says they have to wear a cloth gizmo on their head all the time

Do you support this? Do you think it's a right for girls and women in Iran to dress normal?

Define "normal".

Most middle-eastern cultures have similar traditional dress for men and women. It's loose-fitting not skin-tight for a reason. Both men and women include head coverings.

Your definition of "normal" is doubtless based on the pictures of Iranian women in bikinis from the 1970s or earlier when it was more "Westernised"

I do believe that women should be able to choose how they dress. I don't believe that Western dress should be imposed on them any more than a burka should.

As long as protests don't turn violent, I'm fine with them. And I do think that whatever religion is followed to make women cover every part of their face except the eyes and similar traditions should be abolished. I don't see the point. Egalitarianism / Equal treatment is the best policy. No feminism / misandry, no misogyny, just society living happily together with no bias towards one another.

I don't support the idea of making wearing Hijab a personal choice, because it's not a personal choice at all. But I don't support using force and violence to enforce this law.

Yup, I support personal freedom, so I think women being able to choose what they wear is a good thing. Maybe they’ll get back to Pre 70’s Iran and become progressive again
