I'm Vietnamese-American, and I'm all too familiar with Vietnamese people who travel to Vietnam every year- some even twice a year. Now, these people moved to America because they hate the Communist government of Vietnam, and yet they still travel there annually -- essentially giving money to the government they hate so much. Why would they do this? I myself don't really care about traveling to VN.
Superb Opinion
Most likely it's because they have a great deal of people they still care for in Vietnam. So while they probably don't want to support said government that they hate, they value that lower then the need to visit their loved ones.
