Because they don't think things through. Seriously, have you ever TALKED to these people? They're not claiming that the Apollo 11 landing was faked; that would at least be understandable (if still wrong), they're claiming that we NEVER went to the moon.

They think that "questioning things" means assuming every single official statement made about is something is a lie.

No it’s not fake but there, unfortunately, are a lot of people who see a conspiracy around every corner and are susceptible to these crackpot ideas. Plus, with social media today…., getting people to believe in and click on this stuff is a money maker.

If it was all fake, then how come I can see the US flag, planted on the moon with a pretty strong telescope? I know it happened. I lived it all during the 60's and 70's when we launched those rockets 🚀 into space!
