Why do republicans have this idea in their head that if democrats get away with a fictional crime then they should not be held accountable at all?

For example if Trump is being held accountable for keeping confidential documents they always bring up hillary's email's or hunter biden's laptop. Then if trump is being accused of working with the russians, then they bring up something from hillary's past. Or if they are being tried for sedition and treason for Jan 6th then "what about black lives matter."

People bring up what the Democrats do to show the contrast in how they get treated by the media. For my entire life, Democrats get treated VERY differently by the media than Republicans.

With Trump it's even worse than it normally is for "Republicans". From the very start of his presidency the media was all over him for doing exactly the same thing that every other president does. It started with what the media labeled the "Muslim ban" almost as soon as Trump took office. Why wasn't it a Muslim ban when Obama did it? It was exactly the same list of countries. It got passed from one president to the next. But suddenly the media was all over it when the baton got handed to Trump.

Then there was the wall. When Trump wanted to do what the SEVEN administrations before him did, suddenly the media was all over it and calling it racist. Why wasn't it racist when Obama did it? Why wasn't it racist when Clinton did it?

This is nothing new. We see it over and over again. It's been going on for decades.

So you're saying that those emails, the laptop, and BLM are all fictional / made up? What planet do you live on? The reason they get brought up is to prove discrimination and mistreatment. And your part about "Trump working with the Russians" has been proven false. You know why the mainstream media hates Trump so much? Because he exposed their corruption. And ever since, trust in the media has gone down to it's lowest level ever.
