Question

I personally wouldn’t consider a white person African just because they were born in an African country.

I also wouldn’t consider a black person european just because they were born in an European country.

I also wouldn’t consider and Asian or Arab person African or European just because they were born in a certain country.

I would only consider a person African, Arab, European or Asian if they have bloodline heritage from these continents.

So there’s no Americans? Or do you only consider 4.5 million people to be American? We have Japanese Korean Chinese Arab Jews Greeks blacks white people from all nations and nationalities and races living in the United States there are 330 million Americans only 4.5 million people are native Americans so do you not consider 225,500,000 Americans not real Americans. Should Europe be significantly more populated? Europe cannot sustain the amount of population that people in the United States have as far as European descent goes even in Mexico most of them have some sort of Spanish heritage along with Native American heritage. Is any one with a medical Spanish heritage supposed to be moving back to Spain they can’t sustain that population. Should all the Africans Americans Move back to Africa again most countries in Africa cannot sustain the population of black Americans that are actually in America the same with Asian countries The only one that could maybe sustain the amount of Asian American is China. That we also have people from Cambodia and Japan Laos and other countries in eastern Asia again most countries cannot sustain that population especially the influx of population that would happen if you would actually have people move back to their countries of origin that’s how populated the United States is you got understand we are the third most populated country in the world. So your logic may not be racist but it makes no sense what so ever

Where does my son fit? I'm a Caucasian man from England. My wife is a "non-white" South African woman. He was born in England and we live in Cape Town.

He is both European and African.

There's people in the Western Cape of South Africa descended from European settlers 400 years ago being threatened with having farms their ancestors built taken away and given to descendants of black tribes that didn't venture into the area until 150 years ago because of the colour of their skin.

Basing statements on "race" is wilful ignorance. My son is 4. He hasn't worked out mummy and daddy are "different" other than we're a boy and a girl. I'll gladly rip the arms and legs off anyone who tries to burden him with their preconceptions.

I wouldn't call you racist, but that might show some disrespect and lack of knowledge. In many cases race is not attached to a country or a continent. Otherwise, no one (except for Native Americans) born in the American continent would be considered a citizen of the country they were born in.

I think you have an extremely simplistic view. ALL humans regardless of race originated in the African cradle and spread out from there, so one could reasonably argue we are ALL African.

Human genetics and physiology would support this DESPITE skin deep color! If we were TRULY genetically distinct, then 'race species' would NOT be able viably 'crossbreed'! Which means that race is a social-ethnocultural construct only with NO basis in reality, except to exhibit genetic variability across humans!

In short, ALL humans bleed red blood! Race is an IRRELEVANT construct! Ergo, you are a racist.

Yes. You're saying through my genetics I cannot belong to your group, I must belong to another perhaps distant one with which I have no connection in life.
The thing is people tend not to care so much when someone lives to the exact same rules as they do, talks like them, knows the same stuff as them, same culture, same morals, maybe believes in the same God. Regardless of their face colour.

Being born on a continent gives them a bloodline heritage on that continent. Their bloodline is just one generation. Over time it will extend to multiple generations the longer they stay.
