Have you ever been held up by gunpoint or had someone try to rob you before?

I have, more than once, but I never gave them any money. Because I didn't have any. I them told them how they were doing it wrong and should only try to rob people who actually have money on them. With second who did it, she didn't even have the safety off.

Twice at gunpoint and once with a knife.

The first time someone tried to rob me with a gun, there was cover nearby I was able to use to draw my gun out. He pointed the gun at me and demanded EVERYTHING in my pockets. Dumbass did not make any attempt to hide his face and he was holding the gun wrong. I dove behind a car, drew my weapon and fired at him. My first shot missed but my second one hit his shoulder and third grazed the side of his leg. He ran away but was later caught in another robbery. When he got caught and detectives saw that his injuries match my description, he was placed in a line-up and I identified him. He just got sentenced last month for 3 robberies and 2 burglaries and is on trial for some federal charges as well.

For the knife incident, the idiot pulled his knife out too soon so I had enough time to draw my gun and point it at him. As soon as he saw the gun pointed at him he dropped the knife and ran away. Not sure if he ever got caught or not.

The second robber with a gun was a bit smarter. He came from behind me and pressed the gun into my back and demanded my money and all my credit cards. I gave him my dummy wallet that had a GPS tracker and two $5 bills (an idea I came up with after the first time I faced a robber while my real "card" is through my google pay). I immediately called the police and they tracked him to a meth lab. This guy had warrants on him for murder, kidnapping, rape and a slew of drug charges. Not sure when his trial is starting yet but I will make damn sure I testify to help ensure this shitbag gets put away.

Yup more then once and I'm on paper work for one occasion too growing up i got listed, IN a police report but it wasn't for a robbery. so I can explain that one, some weirdo crip, randomly popped up thought my homie was a blood cause he wore red and tried to bang on him across the street but nada happen that day.

I rmbr me and my homie weeks later and his older bro were walking down the street and we spotted that weirdo crip kid and he was sitting on the steps and the one he previously called out wanted the fade. But ofc he's a pussy and assumes we was all gonna pack him. So he reached in his bag and backed up and said he wanted no problems and my homie wasn't hearing that or cared he might have had a gun so when he got closer. He pulled it out I doubt it was loaded though but I wasn't gonna play with those odds & at that time i just had my kid too haha and he said, just let me go y'all & then did the pussiest thing and took off running like a bitch.

Funny thing was weeks later he got arrested with the same gun for robbing a coffee shop haha! I never did see him again but if I do still to this day imma need that fade for even pulling that on us lol

Not with a gun. It was a knife & I have the scar below my right breast to prove it. The doc said if it had been the other side it may have gone into my heart & killed me.

No. But I did work the night sift at a gas station and had a hunting knife pulled on me. I gut my left forearm slashed open and the guy attempting to rob the place wound up with a fractured skull and several other injures because I kept a club behind the counter. Given how angry the entire thing made me, I probably would have charged him with the same club if he had a gun. So it's probably a good thing he didn't have one.

My first girlfriend's father pulled a gun on me, well it was deactivated but just to make sure I cared about his daughter and not just using her for sex (we hadn't been together at that point)

Came very close to being robbed at the train station when I was a kid. Like an idiot I was holding my wallet up standing in line to get on the bus and the guy next to me was trying to see if he could distract me. It didn't dawn on me until later that the dude was seeing if he could grab my wallet and go running, but he never did it. Like something told him not or he lost is opportunity.
