Does being pretty, good looking or handsome really matter?

I know that looks don’t really matter in life and that knowledge and how you treat people is very important but some time I feel like looks may matter. for example, if you get a job as a model/modeling. In your opinion, do looks matter in life. (Dating or just life in general)

I personally think it does. Looking your very best helps with mental health , which can affect everything you do in life. Goes hand in hand with overall confidence

True, I do agree with you on that. I just thought that looks was supposed to be everything in life and that’s the only thing mattered besides your loved ones and friends. I also thought that you have to look good for other people or do things for other people even if it made me uncomfortable or upset.

I think there’s a fine balance. Looks are not everything in the world and there’s other priorities that are way more important, but essentially you simply not brushing your hair in the morning before work can be a loss in a possible sale if whoever you are selling to judges your unkept hair.

Yes! I agree, I just got taught that whoever I’m with I should look my best and not embarrass them with my looks

Handsome men and beautiful women are just often treated different in society.

People are more welcoming, friendly and nice to you if you physically look appealing.
