If I were to make a list of all the things that mattered to a successful relationship. Raising children. Happiness in old age. Just plain old fun. Physical beauty might make the list, but if it did, it'd be close to the bottom.

I would say yea. Concerning physical attraction, beauty is important, if there is no attraction things dont work that well and it'll stay platonic or a friendship only. I'm not really sure if having a good looking partner influences much the looks of future children.
