I don't think there is anything a democrat can do to make themselves look worse than far right misinformation dedicates the entirety of their time making up. I suppose if a democrat decided to try to fit the caricature crafted by far right misinformation, but that would only make them look bad to right wingers, as I'd imagine most democrats would just take it for a false flag or a really weird exception they have no interest innbeing loyal to.

However, with finally having a real life example of the caricature portrayed by far right misinformation, some additional people might be tricked into believing its not misinformation after all. And I suppose that is ultimately the "worst" thing a democrat can look like: someone who in any way helped the far right trick people into forfeiting their long term prosperity for the sake of some immediate fleeting satisfaction.

Anyway, my point is if you're looking for a way for Democrats to make themselves look bad it's a bit of a "log before the splinter" thing as there is nothing democrats could ever do on the scale of right wing disinformation. You couldn't measure the "success" of an attempt without accounting for right wing noise, which is too vast to account for.

But, since apparently it does need explained, the criteria for tyranny and criteria for communism are separate. You can have (and pretty much always) have both, but it's not a causal relationship any more or less than capitalism is. All communism is is the state ownership of manufacturing. The idea is if something is truly useful then it needn't be sold for a profit. I personally think that is too far except for things vital to survival - a profit necessarily limits access for no good reason, but if it's necessary for someone's survival that's kinda dumb. The problem is that, much like capitalism, those who rise to the top inevitably want themselves to be able to take whatever they want. But whatever. I'm sure this is all on deaf ears.
