He might see some success. After all where Donald Trump was a below average businessman (him simply investing at average market returns would have made him richer than his active efforts did) Elon Musk has seen significant success.

That said: Do you want someone who's political views already mimic his self interest and not ideals to run a country? Since Tesla Elon musk is now against public transportation.

He is vocally against unions.

While you may or may not agree with his stance against political correctness, cancel culture and alike is that really a good reason to elect someone who believes that labour should not be allowed to unionize? Sometimes I wonder if a quick history course on how unions came to be might be good for people.

Like Tulsi would never run as a Republican. They just see Democratic Party has lost it by forcing things on the people and not allowing free speech.
Musk values free speech and Twitter will be free speech for now on.
