Your question asks us to differentiate between his status as having a dual nationality with both halves of that moniker being utterly undefinable, and choosing to put him somewhere on an also undefinable scale of the degree of melanin in his skin.
You may choose to reword your question in a way that makes sense.

She isn't even black so how could the kid be "black"
She has 1 white parent and 1 black parent. That is not "black" that is biracial. 2 black parents make a black kid. 1 white and 1 black parent do not make a black kid.
So now we have 1 white parent and 1 biracial parent so you definitely aren't getting a "black" son.

Neither, he's mixed race.
