6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's true that white supremacists tend not to vote Democrat. (LOL sarc.)
In other words, all white supremacists vote Republican because they hate the Democratic party.
But, out of all Republican voters, few are white supremacist. The Democrats have tried to create that stereotype, but it's completely false and dishonest. White supremacist is a boogeyman term like antisemite, homophobe, antivax, and conspiracy theorist. They are used to slander and silence people, often without justification.
In our two party political system, people have numerous reasons to vote Republican. And very, very few are motivated by white supremacy at all. The majority are strongly anti-racist.
Imagine all the other reasons for not voting Democrat.
I won't vote Democrat anymore and I'm not a conservative or a Republican. I've been voting Republican in California state elections for the last couple years, and I voted for a Republican presidential candidate for the first time in my life in 2020 because the Democratic choice was unthinkable. I voted independent in 2016 but was relieved when Hillary lost. And I didn't think Trump did an overall terrible job, despite the unceasing character assassination and attempts by Hillary and the Democrats to impeach him.
I call Obama Dubya II, and think they were both far worse than Trump even though I am not a fan of him and disagreed with many of his policies, appointments and decisions. Surprisingly, though, I agreed with some.
Anyway, I think you can strongly oppose white supremacists and still vote Republican with a clean conscience.00 Reply

+1 yI would vote red just because of what blue has done over the last 2 years…
As for white supremacy. Both sides think their better and care less for you then society. Either side would sacrifice you for the betterment of what they believe this country should be. But in my opinion at least the Republican ideas benefit you in the here and now.
Besides. Republicans are being supported by the Latino community overwhelmingly right now for a reason. And trump, whatever you might say about the dick, commanded a huge portion of the black vote. Everyone was doing better under him in America unless you allowed his thoughtless words to effect you.
Are you happy the direction we have been going? Because democrats had control of all 3 branches. If not then vote red. Not like we won’t jump back and forth over and over like we have for decades anyway.00 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yIn general yes. The Democratic Party is the party of civil rights. The Republicans have historically opposed any expansion of civil rights and tolerate racism within their ranks and even fan the flames of it when it suits them. I will say not all Republican candidates fit that mold but the majority do.

You do understand the democrats were the racists originally right.
Opinion Owner+1 y@VanillaSalt Yes, of course…. but you have to go back to the Jim Crow era when that was last true. The GOP is the modern era racist party.

If you dislike them enough that you'd want to thwart them getting what they want, then obviously vote against republicans whenever possible. But if you just kinda wish they would stay a little further from you but are fine with them otherwise getting everything they want, then voting republican can work if you have enough money.
Or at least thats the current state of things. Republicans seem ready to reject Trump and the white supremacy he normalized in the party, so maybe by 2024 things will go back to both parties being basically the same in that regard.00 Reply
+1 yIf you hate white people or are a self-hating white person brainwashed with being against their best interests and been indoctrinated with white guilt, you vote Democrat.
But libs are all for abortion which reduces the black population and think black people are too poor and aren't smart enough to get an id to vote.
Democrats back in the day were conservative but the parties switched, which is why the alt right and kkk vote republican today. There are different types of conservatives and not all of them think the same way. Different types of conservatives also don't always like each other.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yYes you should vote republican if your against racism and for equality.
Although your about 70+ years too late to worry about "white supremacist". They cease to be a dominate political idea in this country around the 1950s.
You might argue they still have an effective following in the democratic party now expressed via the bigotry of low expectations, the family crippling welfare state, and abortion policy. But really that particularly effective form of racism that has effectively halted all economic progress in the African American Community deserves its own name.
Today the "white supremacist" form of racism is basically non-existent outside of the imagination of political propaganda. You won't find any REAL groups that support it only smoke and mirrors with the occasional fly..
Its actually far more common to find political support for Black supremacist (BLM) or Latino supremacist00 Reply
+1 yMost Republicans aren’t white supremacists. Even if you don’t agree with the Republican Party platform.
You also have to see. Democrats have been screwing the country up. Would you rather be able to afford gas? Or support what the dems are? Buy groceries or trans kids surgeries?
Have a job. Or late term abortions?

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWhat are you a moron? Have you ever even met a "white supremacist"?
People who believe in such thing are such a tiny minority today, they haven't held any real power in nearly 100 years. You might as well be worried about tribal war bands on the western plains, your about as likely to find them a threat today.Seriously join the 21st century... and try dealing with threats that actually exist today not ones vanquished 60+ years before.
00 Reply3.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. anyone can be a white supremacist regardless of political alliance.
fun fact. the KKK originated from the democratic party.
10 Replyyes. Most republicans aren’t white supremacists. Many of us are human supremacists.
If you want a decent country that isn’t going down the shitter. You better vote the dems out

But all white supremacists are Republicans.07 Reply- +1 y
@anc3643 How is it that you can go thou life telling everyone such outrageous and obvious racist lies?
Don't you care about the historic truth and completely different Modern day issue?
Its like you live in the past pretending to fight a "civil rights" movement that was won 60+ years ago and your not even getting the facts of that political movement right.
Democrats Never Republicans were always the party of racism and White Supremacy.
Even today their political platform is premise upon the non-equality of different ethic groups in its demand for explicitly unequal treatment.
A central conviction of that party that goes back 200+ years as the intellectual reason behind everything form segregation to slavery.
Its not like these FACTS are hidden, they are WRITTEN in the history book.
You have to buy some twisted voodoo magic to not only ignore their explicitly racist policies today but think somehow the parties completely switched places during the 60s. - +1 y

It's not a lie at all.

Go to Harrison.

>>>>>>>> It's no coincidence that White Supremacists vote for the GOP.
Again, I want to be clear:
Voting for the GOP does not necessarily mean you are a racist.
But, if you are a White Supremacist, then you vote for the GOP.

@abc3643 Every paper has a location and address.. and every extremist has to live somewhere.
That doesn't mean he or she has many followers of any influence.
FYI BLM really is a largely scale terrorist organization they proved that countless times since their founding from the assassination of Dallas Police officers to the enormous Riots of 2020 resulting in millions terrified countless killed, and billions in damages. - +1 y
@abc3643 You cannot judge an entire State because 1 or 2 crazies live in it. If you could then the Democratic party would be defined by leftist extremest like NAZIS.
For the record the only KKK members elected to office were elected as Democrats most recently Senator Robert Byrd who was a high ranking Grand wizard back when the KKK was still a real organization of some influence 80 years ago back in the 1940s.
The KKK hated Republican party for consistently siding against them from the beginning to the end.
Today the KKK don't exist as a real organization of any influence anymore. All you find left are a few isolated tiny remnant and crazy acting in their name just like crazies act in every other name.
Until you see politicians running for office spouting such believes they are a non-issue and only for said politicians.
