Hopefully nothing happens, doing nothing is better than constantly passing laws. Regardless Democrats have a problem.
They are too busy ramming their own agenda down everyone's throats to are that they are hurting a lot of people. Even while they claim they are helping us. If they are so great, they wouldn't have half the country essentially going to the other side.
Republicans have a Trump problem, sure his policies were great, he gave the middle finger to the establishment, drained the swamp, despite being attacked every step of the way.
He has become a liability though, right or wrong. The Democrats have made him one. Enough Republicans don't like him because of how he talks and his attitude and the lies from the liberal media.
Frankly I don't really care anymore, the Democrats are running this country into the ground, it is time to separate, let the coastal blue area's be their own country and the rest be our own.
We can have free trade agreements and everyone, hopefully could get along better.
i think it was the moron california people who move here recently and brought their bullshit politics with them.
and we will be in the same shitty spot we are now or it will get worse.
Perhaps. His pushing Oz over a perfectly normal conservative in the primary likely cost the Republicans that PA seat. Pushing Walker and attacking Kemp might cost them the GA seat. A lot of the Trumpster House candidates lost close races that normal Republicans might have won. It is basically easy to blame him for the loss of the Senate and the likely - still a small chance that the Democrats keep that, too - very small margin in the House. If that sticks, especially if Trump keeps attacking Ron DeSantis, Glenn Youngkin, and other competent Republicans it will encourage more and more to move on from the Orange Clown.
Considering that his handpicked candidates pretty much lost across the board, they turned against him before the Nevada results were in. What I think will happen is that Herschel Walker will not win the runoff in Georgia, because now the Republicans can't get the majority even if he's elected. They had a chance of getting it if they won Nevada or Arizona. I think the final count will be 51-49 democrats, which means Kamala Harris won't be needed to cast tiebreaker votes as much as she was previously. I think the GOP will take the house, but at 219 as opposed to the projected 220 (a party needs 218 to take control).

this kinda sounds like something out of star wars... but which one is is the dark side:)?
not a shock, all those Californians moved in because they couldn't stand the crime and high prices... lol.
What next... gas goes up $1.00, stocks continue decline, inflation keeps vaporizing your wealth, and God help Ukraine.
Not much is going to get done with a split Congress... Reps control the House, Dems control the Senate. It will be practically impossible for the two houses to agree on anything. Neither Democrats nor Republicans will be able to pass into law any of their main objectives.
The GOP will still gain control of the house.
But Trump’s presence is helping the democrats more than republicans right now. If anything the left WANTS Trump in the limelight. They WANT him to run again in 2024.
The GOP needs to completely get behind DeSantis. Trump served his purpose but you have to be more than just anti woke to win. DeSantis knows how to govern and the thinks before he speaks. He hates the woke too but he can back it up by getting shit done.
@Quigly Trump won in 2016 because he is a walking talking middle finger to the radical left. I voted for him twice with no regrets. Although I thought his personality was ultimately very bad for optics he did have excellent policy during his first term. Ironically he got the hard part right (policy) and the easy part wrong (self control and personality).
Right now the ONLY candidate the animated corpse pathetic senile excuse for a president Biden Can beat in 2024 is Trump. Reason being is Trump derangement syndrome will motivate millions of brainwashed morons to vote for Hitler over Trump.
Trump could of been easily re-elected in 2020 if he would of got in office and stfu. But he just self sabotaging himself with his stupid antic and dumbass tweets. The might be fun to hear if you are a die hard conservative. But the optics costed him millions of swing voters.
Trump was necessary for a time. But you can’t act like Scarface and expect to stick around forever.
@Quigly i do not like the mass media any more than you do. But this approach you have did not work in 2020 or 2022.
If we go with another “out of the box” presidential candidate in 2024 then the democrats will win. We can either stay “in the box” and win or be doomed to another 4 years of radical leftist insanity. You know as well as I Biden is NO moderate. He is be controlled by the AOCish leftist commies in his administration.
Also DeSantis defied federal lockdown bs during the pandemic. It worked. Just because he isn’t screaming at maga rallies doesn’t help he doesn’t have a backbone.
This infighting bs has to stop. No way we will beat the great Satan on the left with this squabbling.
@Quigly do you think DeSantis is a never Trumper?
Yes Trump got tons of votes in 2020 (including mine) but millions more people voted Democrat thanks to trump derangement syndrome. I can see it happening again in 2024. The margins will still be slimmer but I don’t underestimate how stupid TDR can make people.
And even if Trump gets elected he is constitutionally limited to one term. What if the house and senate remain democrat in 2024? He won’t be able to get much done.
Again I hate hate HATE the radical left just as much as you do. But we need to focus on what works. Trumpism isn’t working anymore.
by the way there is a (sorta) silver lining to what happened in the midterms. It’s left Biden under the delusion he is doing everything right in his administration despite record low approval ratings. It’s emboldened his senile addled ass to seek re-election in 2024. He will be an ancient 82 years old in 2024. But Trump will also 78 by then. Trump may be able to still walk and chew gum at the same time. However the age disadvantage Biden has will be mitigated.
Anyway halfway decent younger GOP candidate will be able to trounce Biden. Send him to the nursing home where he belongs. DeSantis will be 46 in 2024. Literally half Biden’s age. Young, strong yet experienced. People will notice that.
Notice how, when it looked like a GOP landslide was happening, *suddenly* we were told we needed to wait a whole extra week or two?
Or how*suddenly*, machines started breaking? Or how the Democrat candidate in Arizona was put directly in charge of the elections process?
"If voting made a difference, they wouldn't let you do it anymore." - old saying
@KayMay : Precisely. The memes were everywhere. "We must feel sorry for those who live in places where you don't get to vote, or where your vote doesn't matter. Places like North Korea, China, or Maricopa County..."
I’d be happy if the two major party’s worked together and moved the country towards a beautiful future. The fact that most people would consider that laughable speaks volumes. Personally I think the two party system in the US is starting to show it’s age.
Yeah, Pubs didn't get the "red wave" or "hurricane" their false crystal ball told them.
Can only hope but they don't act rationally so it's not all that likely. These people will clearly follow him off a cliff
Donald Trump doesn't Run the Senate, Mitch McConnell Runs the Senate and the elections of the senate. Mitch McConnell lost the Midterms.
Exposing Fake news was never about electing Donald Trump. It was about exposing that our government and elections are fraud. They can't put that Humpty Dumpty back together again by not changing.
You get it! Trump did a lot of good things, and surprisingly so, he even out performed my hopes and anticipations, but of all those things, exposing the fake news media and RINOs and corrupt politicians will be his greatest legacy, oh, and the SCOTUS basically forever! suck it Dems 😂😂
nothing, republicans took the house dems have the senate and nothing changes. biden will continue most of his bad policies
GOP is even more fucked, and not in a good way.
Why is that?
It does seem like his usefulness has run out.
It's an embarrassing joke he was allowed to run for president in the first place.
This picture I'm screaming 🤣🤣🤣. Of all pictures why this one?
So happy about this. I mailed my ballot in last Tuesday so probably one of last votes counted.
We've been circling the drain for they last 2 years. Now we get flushed.
After all he is a business man. His own business comes first
Stacking of the Supreme Court judges.
Who knows? I have no idea
DeSantis 2024
One can only hope!
