Or do you think it was the right decision to keep Democrats in power for at least temporarily (another 2 years) because many Republican politicians were into denying the election results of 2020?
The problem is one of information, the left wing pretty much controls all of the mainstream media and social media.
Can’t vote for change if you’re unaware there is a problem. Just like with everything else the information is spun and/or censored on leftwing controlled sources. If you see prices rising in groceries stores and are told this is solely because of oil companies gouging as opposed to mismanagement, and believe it, then you’re not going to vote for change if you’re otherwise happy with things as they are.
Same with crime. If you’re not even told crime is on the rise and can’t see any rising crime near you and don’t hear of such from others as they see no difference either then you don’t know there is a problem and are unlikely to vote for change.
The problem is not only one of information but stupidity. A perfect example of this is the origins of Covid. No media sources were denying that Covid mainly exploded out of Wuhan. None were even denying the existence of one of the worlds largest virology labs in Wuhan. What all left wing media sources were denying is that Covid was leaked from the lab.
They had lots of “science” telling us that it came from bats or whatever animal it was at the wet market. They had experts saying this during interviews. Unchallenged. They had pie charts, graphs, and complicated explanations of the science as to why this was so.
I never believed it came from anywhere but that lab. What are the odds a major pandemic is going to start in the same city where a major virology lab is located but there is no connection? Probably not high. That’s way past the odds of probably. Yet they managed to convince a lot of people this was the truth. Never mind other incidents of viruses leaked out of Chinese labs, with Covid it was trust the science and if you don’t I’ll show you a lengthy DNA strain that I know you’re not smart enough to understand as “proof” and a distraction from the most likely common sense source of the virus. The whole way through the Covid situation there were many people calling BS on the origins of the virus, the lethality of it, that the lockdowns weren’t necessary and the same with the vaccine and it’s necessity along with the masks.
Yet here we are, and no media sources are apologizing. No scientists are either. None are admitting mistakes. Now everyone pretty much knows the real origins and that none of this has been necessary. Not one word though from the people who were so hardcore in favor of the lockdowns, masks and vaccines. Yet, these people still get their information from the same sources. This wasn’t a little lie, nor was it a little mistake. This was a major deception that occurred. Yet they still get their info from the same sources without questing what else may be in accurate.
Bottom line is people have to know there’s a problem and the cause of the problem and be smart enough to see through discrepancies and likely incorrect information to make more informed choices.
The whole blaming mainstream is outdated. There are plenty of decent independent news sources out there to get the information you want so you blaming left wing media isn't going to cut it.
Besides, people have the instant internet to look for the facts if they want it.
Secondly, it's a reality and fact oil companies are price gouging.
You can look up their record profits like I did it's extremely and enormously high.
They are simply taking advantage of the people.
On reporting crime, I don't watch live news that often but mainstream news media was reporting on crime often. I saw them do it with my own two eyes.
The reality is the Republican platform and ideology sucks and most Americans don't like it, the American people are getting younger and want a different future and set of ideas or the American people have gotten more stupider.
Blaming mainstream media here isn't at fault with all kinds of sources out there to get the information needed to make an inform decision.
My wife is in healthcare and does home health visits. Many of her patients are elderly and some cannot afford cablw TV and just watch the fake news outlets. Most of them are unaware that millions of illegal aliens have been allowed to stream into this country and relocated in the middle of the night by the Biden administration. Many also are unaware that Hunter Biden has taken millions from foreign governments and that a laptop exists that had incriminating evidence that Joe Biden has benefited from this. It is a scary thing to think that the democrats have control of most of the media except for a few outlets that are constantly discredited by the majority.

it is not just the elderly but there are many people that watch only CNN and those crazy people that are on the show with Whoopie Goldburg. Thousands of people literally are kept in the dark from anything the democrats are doing and are only fed information that makes democrats look good and they can lie about Republicans and when they are caught they never have to apologize.

The border crisis has been ignored by all news outlets but Fox. Fox had a drone flying over El Rio showing thousands of illegals hiding under a bridge. THe Biden administration declared it a no fly zone because they did not want the American people to see what a mess they made. They had t o backtrack on this because the censorship of a news outlet made than look bad.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CBC, MSNBC, and every day time talk show saying the sane thing, plus shows like the Tonight show all saying the same thing.
Then until very recently you had Twitter censoring everything. Facebook has has their “Factcheckers” censoring everything.
Then there’s all the Sitcoms, Hollywood, and even pro sports reenforcing the same message and towing the line adding left wing doctrine to every shoe and movie.
Then there are the colleges and schools all teaching the same stuff.
Do you think people are going to bother researching this stuff on their own. Same messages on nearly every medium repeated constantly so that the perception is left wing ideologies are fact because that’s all you hear.
Fox is like the only right wing source. Not that they are always balanced either.
Anyone trying to speak out is canceled. Look what they’re doing to Dave Chapelle.
The message is constant and the same: while people bad, all other races good. Straight people bad. Gays good. Men bad, women good. White nationalism is everywhere. Illegal immigration good. Environmental issues good. Capitalism bad, socialism good. Christians bad. Every other religion + atheism good. Everyone is oppressed by white people. Get vaccinated. Where masks. Electric cars good, gasoline bad. Guns bad. Trump bad. America bad. Cops bad. Same SJW crap over and over everywhere all the time.

It is clear the information sources have been intentionally controlled and there is pretty much one narrative only that is repeated constantly.

Just look at the gun control issue. You NEVER EVER hear about someone using a gun to stop a crime. You NEVER hear that gang activity is involved in the majority of crimes relating to guns. All you hear about is mass shootings giving the impression everyone is just blasting away with their guns at schools.

Twitter and Facebook are private entities and they have a right to censor whatever speech they feel doesn't align with their platform policy just like GAG does as well.
You're aren't entitled to use their websites if you or anyone else doesn't like it.
Moreover, you specificlly mentioned news outlets are presenting misinformation regarding the economy, oil prices, crime and groceries to which I told you no they aren't because I have seen them constantly talking about it.

My point is not if they have a right to do it. My point is there are obviously clear attempts to conceal certain info, while promoting other info.
I’m not saying anyone should be forced into believing anything either. I’m just saying this is all intentional to give the perception everyone is on board with these view points and to continually reenforce those viewpoints and that those views are presented literally everywhere all the time.
Which gets to my point that you can’t vote for change if you’re not even aware there are issues to start with. Who can arrive at a well educated opinion with only half the story presented to them?
They also bank on the laziness of people. Let’s face it. Most people do not even want to put in the effort to get to the bottom of all this. It’s just easier to listen to whatever you’re being told and if that’s all you hear that’s all you know.
At some point we need to ask ourselves: “why the need to try to control peoples points of view?” What does that say about the people involved in doing this?

Voting for change in terms of the economy, gas prices and crime was available by all mainstream news media for people to see and hear it and people knew about such concerns as poll exist clearly proved it by every measure as top concerns among voters, but not enough people seemed concerned with it over election deniers running for office, January 6th riots and reproductive rights.
As far brainwashing and propaganda to influence the people to accept a new way of life or twisted way of life? That's just how things are.

It was never finished anyway, and certainly oil companies would never try to increase profits when they see the federal and state governments trending towards getting rid of gas operated vehicles. Also about gas prices, in CA we’re passing laws that there will be no more gas operated vehicles sold in 10 years. People can notice gas prices going up. And in passing left wing news may say: “ gas prices have been rising and are expected to continue to rise through late November.” What they’re not saying is how Biden put a ban on fracking greatly reducing our oil production, and now we can’t buy oil from Russia. They’re not going to talk about Biden using up our strategic oil reserves or begging the Saudis to increase production. What you might hear is the gas prices are high due to price gouging. That’s not past the relm of possibility, but then why is Biden begging the Saudis to increase production? Do our oil companies not want to make a profit? Oh…. because they can’t keep up with the demand so now we have to buy it overseas at a higher price and maybe some of that money gets used to fund terror. Elements within the Saudi Royal Family funding terror has long been suspected as a source of terrorist revenue. But see, they’re not gonna tell you that so as to give the perception that 100% of the gas price issue is not rich billionaires gouging but rather inept management and poor decisions. They’re not going to tell you the ban on fracking is there because of environmental issues….. AS IF there is no way or place to do that where it minimizes environmental impact. So it doesn’t matter if you cover those stories when you only give people part of the story and manipulate the cause of the issue. People aren’t being given the correct info. Like anyone Is gonna research this. I do cause I’m a geek. Most people are too busy looking at superficial nonsense on tick tock or in life in general to be bothered to even think about it much less look into it. So they’re happy to believe what 15 news networks are saying. After all, they all can’t be lying right?

@Hispanic-Cool-Guy When i was a kid there was no cable tv. Everyone watched the same 3 networks. Walter Cronkite , Huntley and Brinkley and Frank Reynolds. At the end of the day everyone saw pretty much the same news but it was not slanted towards any political party. There was a big degree of trust that if you saw it on the news it had to be true. A lot of elderly people don't realize that most news outlets are just PR for the democrats. When they see on TV that Republicans want to get rid of Social Security they really believe it even though it is just a made up lie to trick them into voting for higher taxes and more crime.

The mid terms had more to do with the abortion issue switching from a Federal to a State decision.
Views about the 2020 election were not a factor.
It just shows that abortion is a bigger issue than the economy. This has always been the case. Unresolved Wedge issues for decades were a significant factor in the 2008 financial collapse.
We aren't voting based on important issues with the economy and corruption when issues like abortion are always more important. This allows politicians to be as corrupt as they want totally unchecked.

Inflation is actually going down and was caused by the pandemic in the first place, which isn't something Democrats can control. It would have happened regardless of the party. Inflation was already going crazy while Trump was still in office. Crime is high right now, sure, but that's because inflation is high. Poverty creates crime.
Keeping Democrats in power was the correct move not only because of the worrying number of Republican candidates who deny the 2020 presidential election results, but also because of how often many of them are actively trying to remove people's power to vote, creating crime by blocking financial aide to people who desperately need it, encouraging the frequent acts of domestic terrorism from far-right extremists, and infringing on Americans' personal liberties by trying to control their reproduction.
Dude, crime is high because district attorneys are letting repeat offenders back out unto the streets which is a fact.
And I personally don't see inflation going down when I go to the supermarket or store.

It's a split Congress, Dems are no longer in control. Biden will be able to make appointments (ex judges and staff) because the Senate approves that, but getting any Bill's passed will be difficult with a Rep-controlled House.
