1. That site doesn't count government overstep as a crime. It should.
2. Those are state averages. Look at city averages, it paints a different picture.
3. The riots by BLM and Antifa were most likely ignored.
4. Governors killing thousands off with their policies last year not counted toward homicide statistics.

6. "Republican" is almost a meaningless term these days. RINOs make up a majority of the party now. They talk a big talk to sway conservatives and those who imagine themselves to be conservative. However, it's all branding and marketing. At day's end, they make the same policy decisions where it matters most as do Democrats. They are the Democrats of yester-year, who simply refused to get on the AOC train, because they concluded that she's a lunatic.
7. Who's on the straight and narrow matters more than who's on the "right" or "left," especially when they've become two wings of the same corrupt bird!

8. Economic "conservatives" who refuse to see the social consequences to the economy of embracing social liberal attitudes are immature Randians at heart. Randians are just a few disgusting rituals and self-destructive tendencies and pantheistic have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too-with-demons worship concepts away from classic Satanists. (LeVayans, not the Alinsky version that are now basically Marxists with no morals whatsoever. Don't get me started on Wokeism.) Their only "good" feature, is them realizing Marxism in all its forms to be pure evil. Otherwise, they're little better than Marxists. They help breed all the same social chaos. But as long as they aren't caught raping or serial killing anyone, they imagine themselves to be "righteous." Yet, for the deception they spread and the destruction of souls they bring about, God will judge them to be every bit as vile.

9. Per point 8, many church denominations and their leaders have been deceived and seduced away. So churches whose duty per existing is to resist this rot, openly campaign for it instead! A church that openly celebrates and promotes buggery and fornication, turns a blind eye to prostitution and drug abuse, doesn't motivate anyone toward penance, and will embrace any wayward cause so long as those darned socialists don't try to finance it by stealing your money, has lost its salt and light. And as Jesus himself declared, such a church is "now utterly worthless, and fit only to be cast out and trampled on." (Matt. 5:13) Today's "conservatives" can't even get their act together on opposing abortion (a. k. a., sacrifices to Moloch)! And then wonder why God has disowned America, and appears to be absent from it, and appears to "not do jack sh*t anymore"! Except, this is exactly what he promised would happen! (Lev. 20:3)

Real conservatives are going extinct. Social liberals who are not socialists vs. Marxist total dirtbags. And the dirtbags commit their crimes under the color of law, so it isn't counted. The rest of these crime stat distinctions are arbitrary.

But there's a lot of factors that influence violence.

Poverty, social structures in the community, how people treat and view eachother, a history of violence with no repair in the community, then there is the influence of violence and social divide through all forms of media, and the prison system also influences violence. Most people get involved with gangs while in prison, and in return, people who get paid to own or maintain these systems look forward to these people being released to do MORE violence, because it keeps them in business.

So the system is severely flawed, it's a money pit, it's almost like money laundering or racketeering funded by the government, by definition...

Mistaking correlation for causation is the simplest and most common fallacy there is.

Looking at state level data and blaming either legislature, governor, or both, without looking at where the crime rates are highest is derelict. New Orleans, for example, is run by Democrats, and the NOPD answers to them and is funded by them. Their DAs are Democrats Same with St. Louis. And so on. And that doesn't even begin to go into demographics.

Sadly, this is true. I moved from New York to rural Missouri and there's crime all around me now. Meth heads. People stole my rocks... Yes, ROCKS from my driveway. Those are impressive statistics. However there are many things to consider besides what party the governor belongs to.
I suspect Alaska hasa culture that is very conducive to murders. Lots of people go to a place like Alaska to be free of the rules that exist in the lower 48.

also: some states are republican but the CITIES are still run by democrats. so the policies causing the high crime even in red states come from blue politicians
