Republicans that claim to be "anti-sin" are some of the BIGGEST hypocrites I've ever seen. They drink beer, even though it's a sin. They have pre-marital sex, even though that's a sin. They charge usury, which is a sin. They eat pork, which is a sin in Christianity, not just in Islam. They are some of the biggest supporters of separation of religion from the State, in their support for the constitution. Do not claim to be religious if you don't want to rule by religion, then you become a hypocrite.

Democrats on the other hand are not religious, neither do they claim to be religious. The democratic agenda is more towards rule of the majority and most are either not religious or agnostic, so are even atheist, so they do not even believe in Jesus. Therefore, it would be totally absurd to say that he would support their agenda if the don't even believe in him.

It's really sad that this is the state of the country, you are trying to bring Jesus into your disagreements and see who he would agree with more? He does not stand for degeneracy from any side, and both parties are full of degeneracy and should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of co-operation and putting everyone in this mess.

Other way around: they lack the  lack  of intelligence to think Jesus would be a Democrat. The guy who said "give unto Caesar what is Caesar's" isn't likely to care much about taxes, so the usual anti-Republican rhetoric isn't going to work; He made a point of saying that the fundamental equality of humanity means that the active discrimination on the basis of race and sex would push him away from the Democrats, and the idea that "Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven" are the words of someone who would be part of a group whose dedication to abortion borders on that of  MOLOCH  is downright incomprehensible. His condemnation for the Republicans would be harsh, too, but NOTHING on what He'd have to say about the Democrats. I think if you're a Conservative Christian, you need to believe that your Lord and Savior is "just like you", without really asking yourself " Shouldn't I be just like him, and what exactly was that? What did Jesus' words indicate about who he was and how he thought. Better yet, how did he TREAT people?" That's a far more difficult thing to do.

It's fair not to lump masses of people into a category. As much as I struggle with the "Republican mindset", I know very many Republicans with good hearts but no ability to evaluate the world of politics, so they just jump on a bandwagon and contentedly mimic what they hear. However, that creates a little "Christian dilemma" when you discover your Christian leaders are full of shit, or they're having homosexual relations with 14 yr old boys, or girls, as the case may be.

I believe Conservative Christians, the majority of whom are Republicans, forget that Jesus came SPECIFICALLY to bring about CHANGE and basically said, "you've gone astray and forgotten why you're all here", and so on. Change is a dirty word for most Republicans and conservatives.

So, I don't know that they lack the "intelligence" to consider your statement, but I DO think they're afraid to think about it because "what if it's true in some way, even in part"?

None of that's in the Bible. Jesus was totally racist (" I can't take the food that belongs to My children and give it to dogs”) and didn't believe in taxes (Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves).

What exactly are you trying to prove? That Jesus is a nice guy. Not really, he liked to call people out for being fake nice. Probably wouldn't be a Democrat.

Jesus was anti-sin and pro-God; a position that many in BOTH political parties are disgusted by, but far more so on the Democrat side.

Every immoral act under the sun is what Democrats profess to support. Ask them about God and they more than likely will tell you they don't believe in a "fairy tale" like God! In fact, God was voted out of the Democrat platform during the 2016 DNC convention to raucous applause!

So you still want to take the position that Jesus would totally be Democrat?

I'm POSITIVE He wouldn't have many nice things to say about either party, but Democrat? You obviously must claim total ignorance of the Bible and Jesus Himself.

Jesus would not be anti-Gun. You forget that he is the SAME God of the Old Testament. No Christian Church or Early Fathers interprets Jesus' pacifism as not being able to own weapons or not defending yourself or others. Republicans, as I see it, are far less Racist than Democrats are. Sure there are some extremists. (I'm not white). I don't know what you mean by Pro-Diversity. Since Jesus was all about "To the Jew first, then to the gentile". Not being unfair, it meant that the Jews had more responsibility too. Jesus would have serious qualms with baby killing in the millions, (Abortion is strongly condenmned by the Early Fathers too in the Didache), Gender Therapy, Gay Sex, Sexual Immorality which Democrates Promote, Immorality, Athiesm, Vandalism... no party is 100% perfect. However, the Republican party, although far from perfect, align closer to Jesus' and Church Fathers' views. At least when compared to the Mess that is Democrats.

Abortion, lgbt, being against socialism, you give out of your free will not the gov forcing you. God & Jesus are Pro Christian, Christian first, and not putting people of other religions first.

God accepts any person that follows him, but there's a reason he separated man by language and wants there to be different nations instead of a one world order on this current world.

Liberals tend to be more atheist and agnostic, and republicans want there to be laws that follow bible rules. So, I'd say Jesus would most likely be a Republican.

Guns didn't exist in Jesus' day; so, it's anachronistic to say he's be anti-gun or anti-racist... He certainly wasn't pro-diversity, "Why would I feed the children's bread to little dogs (in speaking to a Gentile woman)."

What are you basing that on? Democrats make me so sick, they say everyone else is racist but are the biggest hypocrites ever. They want to eliminate voter ID for example, why? They say it is more difficult for people of color and minorities to get IDs. So, are they really saying if you are a person of color or a minority you are too stupid to get a driver's license? They want the southern border open to everyone that can get here. But, when migrants tried to get to Florida from Cuba, all of a sudden we don't have room for everyone and they have to go back. Could it be that they know the ones from Cuba have seen socialism and know it doesn't work and would vote against it here if they have the chance?
