No one has done what Trump has done: 34 felonies, which included lying to cover up paying a porn star who he had an affair in order to keep her quiet before the 2016 presidency. Because first of all Christianity is a cesspool of lies for weak, stupid people to make them feel better about all the things they don't understand and can't control. And speaking of control, that's what US style Evangelical Christianity is, a control mechanism for sexually repressed nutcases to force their mental illness on everyone else. No thank you.

Contrary to your view, many political rallies are conducted by clergymen. Protestant and Muslim ministers, Catholic priests, Jewish rabbis, etc have frequently appeared in public leading these protests and in the lobbying for legislation. The anti war movement during the Vietnam war immediately comes to mind. If you are not old enough to remember that war, please look up the matter in Google.

Let's take a look at right wing television evangelists: While Jesus always taught to love everyone (including your enemies), right wing television evangelists preach HATE. Hate for gays, the poor, immigrants, Democrats, hate for Jews & blacks, and hate for the government. The Bible teaches to respect government and to love all. Thus, these Republicans are taking God's name in vain and profaning all the teachings of the Bible.

Bottom line: more often than not it is not the Democrats who oppose religion but it is Republicans who profane religion. Overall, this is a good topic for discussion. However, let's get our facts straight and reflect carefully before posting.

Being against something like abortion or gender ideology doesn’t automatically mean Christians are attacking people—it means they hold a different belief about what’s right. Disagreement is not the same as hatred or violence.

Christian values have always included loving others while standing for truth. That doesn’t mean silence, nor does it mean forcing others to convert. It means living out our convictions while respecting others’ rights to disagree. The intolerance some people show toward Christianity today is no better than the intolerance they accuse Christians of.
