Do you like talking to older people?

I really enjoy the little encounters with them. Today I met this elderly woman and she was so beautiful, kind and full of grace. I aspire to be like her.

I am one of those who can get along with many older people around me. Most of the people I know (around my age or younger) don’t like them, because they can be grumpy and strange. While I agree on this, there are still many elderlies out there who are cool and generous enough to share their life experiences with me. I love learning from the senior, and see some of them as a role model.

It's funny, 'cuz I used to feel more comfortable around old people, but not anymore unless I know them, because most old people are extremely entitled and think they're smarter than you just because they're older, and they also demand special treatment and respect just because of their age. They will argue over a $1.00 discount. It's so pathetic.

Sometimes. Old folks with all of their faculties and a life well lived. Some people are boring. We don’t become interesting with age. We become interesting with experience.

When in my 20's I had male friends that were a lot older that I played golf with, and I always preferred somewhat older persons to talk to. Perfectly normal for a mature minded person.

I do.. especially talking to above 70yo people.. they are nice, always give me advice of life, they told me their era, and many things..

I knew many older people. I recently met a WW2 veteran. He was a war hero and a businessman. He had all kinds of different experiences in his long life.

Actually yeah, more than I like doing to a young one. I like their experiences and perspectives. I don't agree with them, but I like them.

I honestly do. One day we will replace our elders and the roles will be switched. I love their stories, wisdom, shared knowledge, understanding of life, and hearing them speak.
