There is no such difference. Other than freedom of speech being a government right (in countries that don't suck). No one is obligated to kiss your ass, especially on the internet. Freedom of speech isn't meant to just protect popular speech; that's kind of THE WHOLE F*CKING POINT!

Someone who calls someone name-calling you online "abuse" is just weak. Really f*cking weak. Just mute them. Or block them. Or don't go on the website. Jesus, when did everyone turn into such a f*cking baby? When I was in school, "bullying" still meant physical violence; as in, f*cking you up with their fists. Now it's "someone made a mean tweet about me! Ban them!" Same thing applies to the idiotic concept of "hate speech."

Some of you do realize men are getting blown up and killed in Ukraine right now and you're whining about strangers not kissing your ass on the internet. The only time it'd be "bad" is if you're getting doxxed or they're telling people to physically go up to you in real life. And that's not even freedom of speech; since you can call the police for actual incitement of violence.

I don't take pussies seriously. Especially on the internet. "Sorry not sorry."

Do you know the difference between freedom of speech and online abuse?

Absolutely. Yet so many people don't seem to get it.

Abuse is a call to action.

It's using the platform to tell people to bring harm to somone or a certain group.

Freedom of speech however is the right to voice your own opinion:
It's the freedom to agree and to disagree.
To love or to hate an idea or even a person.

Often times we censor people exercising that freedom when we happen to disagree with them.
Not only is it messed up It's actually the root of all conflicts and separation

There is no difference. Freedom of speech and online abuse is Free Speech. There is no hate there. If Trump wants to bash a fat woman, aka Rosie O'Donnell that's his prerogative. If he wants to bash Hillary, that's his prerogative. It's warranted. The LEFT bent media wants to vilify the Greatest President since Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln wasn't so hot himself. He simply did what he needed to do get votes. Trump is a non career politician. Gave up all his Presidential salary, plus lost half his networth. What career politician does that? You'd be right. NONE. Whilst making America Great Again.

Iโ€™m not Americanโ€ฆ Trump looks like a chump from our angle ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ but also the fact that people want to talk about politics sooo much also seems naff.

But what we have is the Worst President of all times sanz Jimmy Carter. Then again, the great woman who at a NASCAR event was interviewing Brandon. I love that woman so much! She simply said, is LET'S GO BRANDON even though everyone was saying FUCK JOE BIDEN! Then upon Christmas times, they allowed people to LIVE talk to Biden and Jill. What this Oregonian said was Let's Go Brandon! Biden said yes, LET'S GO BRANDON! After this, JIll must say to us all!!! Don't do that! He thinks his name is Brandon now!!!

You're always "free" to say anything you want, anytime and anywhere. That's freedom of speech, and the freedom to act. However, that doesn't mean you can do so with impunity. There are regulations, rules and laws in place that may punish your chosen speech or actions. Those regulations will differ greatly country to country.

Abuse, online or otherwise, spoken or physical, is one of those things currently regulated in most places, and what's considered abusive will vary. Abuse in general implies an intent to hurt and demean.

Since you're not American I'll clue you in. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. That being said, common sense applies. With power comes responsibility. Just because you CAN hurt someone doesn't mean you SHOULD hurt someone. Saying something for the sole purpose of hurting someone is self destructive, not healthy and just diminishes you as a person.

one is a fact or an opinion based on logic reasoning from gathered information.

the other is subjective conjecture as an emotional response designed specifically to offend someone.

that being said, an uncomfortable truth is not online abuse.

Freedom of speech 💬 people respect 🙏 your views on particular issues, news or current affairs and online abuse is when someone thinks they're a keyboard warrior through cyberbullying.

The difference is sheer ignorance toward the other person's statements, perspective, and conditions. Essentially not empathizing with the person. Sheer ignorance+bad attitude on your side.

Yes, one is a right to speak or publish free of government censorship. The other is speech. Private platforms like GAG can restrict the content they allow.
