Metric has been proven time and time again to be a horrible system for every day human life. It works for science, but most people being less than two meters, and most daily temperatures being between -10 and 30 C, is FUCKING RETARDED.

The short version is, Metric is useless for everyday human life. It works for broad science uses, but is a HORRIBLE system for humanity. Imperial was made for humanity, Metric was not. Or, like me, you can just use both, for the appropriate situation, most of which won't be scientific unless you work in science.

Metric all the way. I'm from England where a lot of imperial measurements are are used. Fortunately groceries are sold in grams and the weather is used in celsius. We use miles for distances but i prefer km. Even British colonies that used imperial have switched to metric a long time ago.
