Players behind the scenes. I don't think the democratic party is evil I think there's a segment of it that promote laziness under the guise of "fighting for the common man" the common man doesn't want a handout or welfare the common man just wants a opportunity to succeed. I think Biden is just a career politician. I think he's the same as anyone who ascends to the presidency. At that point they realize there's 45 men who've came before them. And this is thier legacy. They want to be remembered for forming a more perfect union. But generally they made a lifetime of deals to get there and now have to honor them, lest everyone turn against them. Power and money corrupts. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. That's why I like this scene from the movie "Primary Colors". Especially the line about Abraham Lincoln. Because it's so true.

Ecclisiates 1:9 " What has been will be again. What has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun".

Human nature at it's core will be the same we may be more civilized. But in many ways we've NEVER left the caves.

We live in a Laissez-faire free market capitalist economy. The government dosen't control majority of resources but contracts privately own business that control prices of everything.

It's a cute cartoon but it gets the point across.

Even with the giant gas reserve in America, i doubt it's the same gasoline from the 1970 because gas goes flat after a few years and would get cycle out eventually. When we had insine gas prices, it would have exasperated refilling the reserve and decided not adding the stress of the free market of gasoline. That would have ultimately rise fuel prices.

Now lets say war breaks out tomorrow threatening the home land. That tank will be filled up in 62 hours for free because the government does have that power at war times. But currently we are not so government plays ball with free market private businesses and their prices.

Same can be said with any resource honestly. It's free market economy with private businesses and war breaks out on the homeland suddenly your a government worker good luck.
