A federal jury on Tuesday convicted Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and a top deputy of seditious conspiracy for leading a months-long plot to unleash political violence to prevent the inauguration of President Biden, culminating in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. Each faces 10 to 20 years in prison.

from what I've seen, it's a stretch... looks like a gathering turned to a riot not a plan. I'm sure they talk all kinds of crap, but where's the plan to seize power and do what they say? If they really wanted to, they would have taken the building easily, there was nothing in their way. 10-20 years... sounds high to me unless they assaulted or disobeyed an officers lawful order.

They were stupid to do what they did, which is what can happen in any large crowd motivated by their beliefs. Heck not far up north of that, years before... they burned women in fires because they thought they were evil. It's group think... humans.

Again, lets turn our effort to real crime so we are safe in our homes and streets. Lets get the processes nailed down so we quell the distrust in the system.

I think that either this is a perfect example are corrupt and those who are happy about this conviction are true supporters of corruption and not worth trusting, or the people who claimed the justice system is corrupt after Kyle Rittenhouse's verdict were so wrong that they are not worth trusting.
