Do you believe that life goes by fast or slow?

With the perspective of age, you realize that life goes by fast.

If you are waiting for something or if you are miserable, time seems to crawl. When you are having fun, it seems to fly. But over the long haul, life progresses on pace and, at some point, you realize that your time here is short.

As a rebellious teen, I remember thinking that anyone over 30 was old. In my 30s, I chuckled at that notion. I was in the prime of life and barely getting started.

Now I'm almost 69. WTF? It's an experience I could never have imagined. But I look back and realize how many experiences I crammed into my life as time kept ticking. I didn't notice the time passing.

Having fun it seems to fly by, being miserable seems super slow. LOL

Depends. Let’s take the work week. It can go by pretty slow. Then take the weekend. That goes by pretty fast. It can also depend on what your doing or who your with. Some times the work day can go by very quickly, but as long as your busy. Dates is another thing. You on a bad date, time goes by slow and when you are on a good one then yes you don’t want it to be over. As well as time change. Days now are a lot shorter due to the sun. December 21 is the shortest day while June 21 is the longest. That can play a part in it as well.

Life goes fast, because I have my goals, I have my eyes on one thing to accomplish and after that I'm tackling the next, time flies by.

It depends on your age. When I was little, a year took FOREVER to get through!! A day lasted an eternity and you could get all kinds of shit done! Now, a day only lasts a few hours and I can hardly get anything done in that space of time!! (The day just started about 5 hours ago and in 3 or 4 hours, it's gonna be night time, again!!) A year only lasts a few months (Wasn't it just summer 2 months ago?) and a decade is only a couple years!! I think back to the mid `80's, 40 years ago, and, to me, it was just maybe 10 years ago! When I was a kid, 20 years was several lifetimes!!

when you are a younger kid time goes very slowly.
As you get older it seems to speed up.
I remember on my 15th year class reunion I thought I have been out of school longer than I was in school.
Where did that time go.
When you were in school it was an eternity for school to be over, then in a blink of an eye you wonder where the time went.

Slow when you're young, and fast the second you start to feel "old" (for me, it was 27; now I'm frickin' 36! I'll be goddamn 40 in 2026!)

It is flying by. I took the Christmas decorations down a couple of weeks ago. it seems like I just put them away.
