Quite fast, someone once told me "your 20s go by fast" he wasn't wrong as i was about 21 w hen he said this and im now 23 and it feels like 6-8 months went by. When you don't have a job and have free reign over non linear planning you enjoy the flow and boy does time fly. Just makes me wonder what it'll be like if im in my 70s or 80s and retired, a lot of people say time speeds up as you get older.

As a person gets older each years is a smaller fraction of the total years. When you are 10, one year is 1/10th of your life, at 50, on year is just 1/50th of your life.

This year has been a blink of an eye. Seems like only few days ago it was jan 2025.

It feels that way for me ever since I finished high school. The days just go by like nothing. Life is just flashing by me

Remember as a kid tho that getting from Christmas to Christmas seemed like it took forever!!!

Yeah sadly it's the "experience effect". The more you experience life, the less joys there are to experience freshly, and every day seems like routine that passes you by. Not just that, but the concept of time seems so much longer because you haven't experienced time passing by much.

I genuinely hate it. At this time, I feel like I'll be 90 on my deathbed before I know it.

And the goal should be to find joy and happiness because even if time goes fast it's better than how slow life goes if it's dull and miserable. Plus you won't mind as much if before you know it your 90 and you can look back and smile at the life you had.
