I take all news with a grain of salt. Whether it’s CNN or FoxNews or MSNBC, they all add their own little flavor to a story, or outright spin things to paint the other side as the bad guy. I see the most FoxNews, due to my elderly father watching all the time, and I find their takes and spins on things to be WILD, even outright untrue (or at least mischaracterized), so I’m sure other outfits can be guilty of this too. I’m for sure no Trump fan, but you gotta roll your eyes at this cat Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC absolutely showering in any Trump blood that gets spilled. I always see this dude with this dead ass serious look and tone of voice going “Every day is worse for Donald Trump than the one before it…. he will, somehow, have to find a way to sleep tonight knowing that he’s facing a myriad of legal troubles…”🤦‍♂️😂 Like, bro, I don’t need him to go to jail or anything, I just want the people I live amongst to smarten up and finally realize that this dude is a goddamn grifter, like all the rest of us can clearly see from an outside perspective, for like 7 years now. Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity are probably the kings of prime time misinformation and mischaracterization, in my opinion, but don’t worry, I can call the other side for being dishonest too. CNN sort of lies in the middle of those two extremes, but I’m sure they aren’t much better. I just live life outside of the house and base my opinions on facts I can personally observe to be true.

There are two sources I do not trust and they are the Communist News Network from its conception with Ted Turner and Jane Fonda era... I researched it in undergrad for a project. The other is TIME magazine. The difference between the two is I know CNN is inaccurate as does much of global society that I interface with. I ALSO know, because I researched it with the events of that Time, that whatever goes on that TIME cover is mostly accurate and shows itself in the near future. I think TIME understands fallen nature and people self-destructive tendencies etc...

CNN is not fake news. They certainly lean left in their reporting, but they present facts backed by video of events such as Trump telling his followers to join the rioters at the Capitol and saying he would join them before going back to the White House to watch it on TV and calling to egg on the rioters. Fox reported it as Trump calling it a peaceful rally (were they watching it with their eyes closed and fingers in their ears?)

As for which news is trusted by viewers, conservatives watched Fox News, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Glen Beck pretty much exclusively. Liberals watched NPR, BBC, PBS, New York Times, NBC News, CNN, ABC News, MSNBC, and CBS News, a much wider range of reporting and views. Among the total viewers of both political beliefs, CNN was trusted by over 50%, and NBC News and ABC News each were trusted by half. So most people do not trust right side "news" as much as other sources.

CNN has gained a reputation for just being far-left bullshit for reasons. They didn't just get that reputation for no reason. I'm not a fan of any mainstream network and think fuckers need to stay the fuck off T. Real journalism died about 30 years ago when Desert Storm bombing of Baghdad was instantly online. Since then, every news media reports things before verifying them, all in an effort to please readers/listeners/viewers desire for instantaneous news, which increases the media's advertising revenue.

Always double check your sources. If multiple news sources are saying the same thing then you have to agree with the consensus. That's the way science generally works. CNN might be biased on some ways but they are usually following other news sources and give actual facts based on evidence.

Fox News and OAN on the other hand contradict every news source and even contradict themselves on a regular basis.

CNN used to be part of the Sky Satellite TV network when it took to the air in 1989 but as its output turned partisan to the democrats, more and more households in the UK have had CNN removed from their packages, with it being removed altogether in the upcoming year.

Most of the news outlets are very biased in one direction or the other. Fox is obviously on the far right of that spectrum, and CNN is way over at the other end. Anyone who thinks Fox is "fake news" and CNN isn't, or thinks that CNN is "fake news" and Fox isn't, is either a fool or incredibly dishonest, or both.
