How would you pronounce this?

Generally I would say thousand but I do sometimes use the Americanism.
This is actually fine.
I also quite like, though it cannot be used in ordinary life 'One half' as you might find in Star Trek, e. g. heading 141, 274, one half impulse power.
You couldn't say that in the UK, what would be heard is 'One and a half' / 1.5 not 0.5
There's no reason to say "and". It's just two thousand six hundred. Also, there's no dollar sign so there is no reason to say dollars.
Two thousand six hundred.
But I will also say fifteen hundred rather than one thousand five hundred. Given both are correct I wonder why we often use different systems for different numbers.
Two thousand and six hundred... I didn't know there's another way lol

26 bills or just 26 in the right context
Of the more stand options I'd say twenty six hundred
