Now, now, that's an exaggeration so let's be fair about this. Here's what should happen:

One bus load (44 people) illegal immigrants should be put up in tents outside of EVERY Congressional member's home. That's 535 voting members of Congress, so that's 23,540 of them. In states where it is winter, FEMA trailers are to be provided. Heat, food, water, Porta-potties, etc, all essentials are to be provided for by each state for the first week. Every day AFTER the first week, it is deducted from the paycheck of the Representatives or Senators. This continues until Congress hacks out a realistic, working policy to deal with the issue.

Both parties and every administration for the last 80 years is responsible for what's happening now. Even today's Republicans know that closing the border completely is just a band-aid.

The ONLY thing that makes Congress act is when their OWN comfort or security is threatened. The other alternative is to lock them ALL in chambers - no cell phones, no outside communication, until they fix the problem.
