The same reason they fight HARD against voter ID. They claim that requiring a photo ID and/or proof of citizenship "disenfranchises minorities", especially African-Americans. Actually, I think that is really racist to think that black people can't afford a $20 ID card, and assume that the majority of them want to be "off the grid" and untraceable. Just try to imagine life without an ID. You couldn’t get a job. You couldn’t rent a house or apartment. You couldn’t drive a car. You couldn’t apply for government benefits. You couldn’t purchase cigarettes or alcohol. How would you live without ID? Democrat politicians claim that requiring an ID would somehow cause a large majority of black people to be unable to vote. Can someone explain that to me? Arizona is mostly controlled by democrats because all the federal judges are democrats. They courts continue to strike down laws that would require proof of citizenship. This allows democrats from California to cross over and vote, and they do in large numbers. No address verification required. Illegals are not even asked for their addresses when voting.

The Supreme Court ruled that they would be counted in the census which increased the democrat representation in congress despite the fact the many people fled these states to more citizen friendly places. However the democrats were not done yet. They still needed some way that the 20 million illegal , aliens could vote in national elections. They were already getting them Social Security numbers and were working towards fast tracking them to citizenship. They were well on the way to this when Republicans re-took the House in the midterm election. The Republicans were able to stop them.

Americans do not realize just how close we came to losing out country forever. This must never happen again.
