My happiness. I've been thrown a ball that says "expectations" multiple times and I dodge it or let it drop. Hell, my mom and I had a bit of an argument (i didn't say much, just let her talk and record the audio while she blabbed on) about how what I've done and doing is not "appropiate" or "right". What was it? I changed my name. And i've never felt happier about having a name I'm proud to have. My parents don't agree with this- good. My happiness is something I'll do anything for right now. Not when I'm walking the same road as my family and regret all what I've done.

I understand your point, but i turned down big money opportunities and am still doing great. That's just me. Me and the wife make decent money and we have our house, cars, our extra spending here and there, vacations and so on. We are good. Our garden bring so much peace and happines to usm but! I have that feeling deep down, to have so much more money but at the same time! Do i need so much more? 🤷‍♂️

Wait another 20 years when the MRIs, EKGs, colonoscopies, constant doctor and specialist visits and prescriptions kick in. THEN, you'll need the time and the money... And, you'll start getting tired and wanting more naps and more quiet time and less bullshit - but the chores still gotta get done. So, you either hire help or move to a senior community - either way, money leaves your pocket.

I am on that level, not so healthy (nothing i can control) bit our health insurance in Sweden does not cost so much as you think. Google it, i won't be as good in explaining it. Short story! I have had 3 minor surguries since 2016 and o have paid a toatal of 110$ - ish for all three. We good my man, i have my svings, i have my investment account and i am still working.
