Do you think someone naming a car brand after a president could happen today?

Let's take Lincoln for instance. Henry M. Leland decided to name Lincoln after the 16th President.

With politics being a taboo subject to some people, do you think that the naming of a car brand after someone (like say when Barack Obama or Donald Trump dies) would be possible in today's climate?

I doubt it. With politics being so polarizing today naming a car after a president would exclude a certain percentage of the population. It’s the reason why they usually name cars after places or animals. Something that makes you associate that place or thing with its strengths.
I’m a sure a trump car would be associated with lies and toilet flushes.

If you named it Trump it would probably cheat you out of gas mileage, If you named it Biden it would not know which way to turn

I could see a Trump brand being successful to some degree, but otherwise, probably not. Even so, it would probably become more of a novelty that would fade away over time and not stand.
