I think I'm a fairly open minded individual, I at least do try to be aware of my own predjuice. Of course I've my blind spots but I'm always trying to learn and as long as people are respectful and not harmful and/or hateful towards others I'll be respecting their opinions despite of disagreement.

To a certain extent. I DO like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes negative stereotypes turn out to be true, and it's impossible not to hate. But I will never be tollarant of extremists on either side. But I'm open minded with people who have a different opinion then me, as long as they're respectful of mine and willing to have a rational conversation.

I'm fairly open-minded with sex stuff. The one thing I'm not open minded on though is trans-genders and non-binary freaks. Just no. Keep me away from those people.

No. I have clearly defined opinions and worldview. I don’t need the latest fad or whatever to blow through my mind and change everything about my person.

That’s what am open mind is. It is a whirlwind where everything flies through and there is no standing on anything.

How do you know you've clearly defined opinions and worldview - if you refuse to listen to anything that doesn't allign with your beliefs? Because that is what being open minded is - being willing to listen and consider new ideas, no one says the conclusions has to end in a change of beliefs or change in standings.

Sounds like you've a little standing on things when you fear the latest trend changing your whole persona.

Yes, I said open minded which actually requires listening to others. How do you think you can be open minded if you refuse to listen? Listening to others is kinda the first step at being open minded. Considering something - requires listening closely to an indivuals opinion and world view.

I'm sure that is what you believe and I'm not even going to argue with you on the matter - since that discussion is both pointless and has little to do with the subject of being open minded.

The answer is both YES and NO.

Yes because I can understand things, but I refuse to accept it and follow it in my life. I have very little flexibility and open mindedness, say max 5%.

Hence I am by large rigid and closed minded as an individual and I know they consequences of that as well.

Hence 95% No and only 5% Yes ( only understanding)
