Romania's "lax rape laws" are in regards to the MeToo movement which has absolutely gone off the rails in the west. In Romania you can't just make a false rape accusation from 5, 10, 20 years ago. that shit doesn't fly over there.

The laws in my country about rape are clear, but the people mentality moust of the time from police is very backword.
Girls are been asket in thous moment how they were dress and if they did any particulary action to make that guy to do so. Moust of the rapeing case are in the rural area where people are extremly stupid.
In Romania for rapeing you can get 25 yares if you are finde guilty. But many time the girls don't trust the police so they don't say nothing, they are to ashamed and the media is retarded and just say "another girl had been sexualy adused" (sell the sex).
And some time even the police don't care.
As a child i had been threatened that i will be beaten and the police take actions afther 3 months afther my declaration as a child togeder whit my father.
The justice in Romania is very poor and the laws are not alwase respected.

Romania might not believe in the human right to due process but I need to see evidence before I decide whether he should be condemned.
