Sure but because they say it doesn’t make it law or even applicable to the Constitution itself. And there’s inflammatory speech leading to criminal activity.

It is not some neat black and white bowed box. There are detailed intricacies that you seem to want to avoid…

I know you can't yell fire in a crowded movie theater. In the inflammatory speech its usually the people who take offene at someone says good morning. Plus they are the ones who throw first punch not the ones who say or ask.
But thats in my experience.

i don't defend anyones right but my own. i'm neither a lawyer nor police. that's not my job. however i would prefer being in a society where you have the right to say what you want without facing harsh legal consquences. but that's not a thing in my country.

it's the same everywhere. pretty much every society has a fairly narrow corridor of acceptable opinion. they just warry in harshness of punishment for deviating off of that path, even though you may be more right than the conforming rest.

Of course. The problem here is that a lot of people misunderstand this "constitutional right". It does not mean you are entitled to have other people be forced to listen to you or protect you from being for example banned from twitter.

Well, the constitution and Bill of Rights gives citizens that right, but sometime we hear things that are so insane, it is hard to want to give them that right, no matter what they say.

Its already here. Houston, L. A., Atlanta and 1 more big city have had Nazis papers thrown on people's driveways. Cops and FBI won't do anything bc of freedom of speech. I not one. If it happens to me. I'll just pick it up and throw it away. I don't read that crap and never will.

Of course it is. I'm talking about someone saying something that makes your blood boil. They have every right to say it, period. You have to defend they're right to say it though or the 1st amendment doesn't count for them bc you disagree with them. That's not right.
