Gosh- I hadn't even heard about this. Not that that's saying much; I don't keep up with the news, generally speaking. But my guess would be that this accident was a consequence of the abysmal state of our rail network, which is in awful shape and is poised to have to pick up a LOT of the slack that will come from the damage to be done to the trucking industry by the current administration's War on Fossil Fuels. Vital infrastructure? Nah; better to spend that money on proxy wars and Pakistani gender studies programs!

To say nothing of their "Let's pretend we're still the party of the working class while we cozy up the China, promote the hell out of Amazon, and make our unions have to ask permission to strike" platform.

The media isn't talking about it much (assuming they aren't, but if you're complaining about it, it's probably true to some degree) because it's very Democrat-aligned, if not outright Democrat-controlled. Despite the usual Republican jibes, it's not actually very liberal, but it IS in line with the (ostensibly, anyway) more liberal of the two parties.

Somewhere, Tulsi Gabbard is crying.

This white house administration is continually and deliberately diverting our attention on so many different events, even very important ones, so we are in constant chaos and only get news they want us to have.
I can't even remember when I last heard a news cast that was actually telling the truth.

It's because major population centered like Pittsburgh are sure to be effected. They don't want mass panic across the area nor discuss the inevitable long-term impacts.

We know why. It is in predominately White area and President Biden and the Democrats don't care about Whites. If this was in a heavily populated Black area, it would be on the news everyday.
