Seems like you just posted a bunch of attention it got.
But my guess is because we seek ideological purity and this isn't a perfect outcome for either side's narrative. There were still victims so the right doesn't want to point out that particular flaw in armed resistance (the difference between an armed resister and a mass shooter van only be determined after there are victims) - for example it is no comfort to the mother of a dead child to say the killer was shot by someone who was armed at the scene. And the left doesn't get a perfect narrative for reasons you're well aware of. So, it's an outcome that pleases no one so no one covers it.
Because nothing tragic happened. Also a person being shot by someone else doesn´t seem like a news in a country where many people are killed through guns.
The shootings at schools only make the news because they happen at schools not because they are shootings.
Armed citizen success stories don’t fit
Media narratives. Although they happen with regularity, it doesn’t satisfy those who want to believe it’s a myth. There’s no emotional impact when kids aren’t involved, and there aren’t plenty of dead laying around.
Good question.. I think Elon musk mentioned her in a tweet or something... otherwise I’d never have known about it. Well-done to her, girls can be tough, hero’s too 💪

I doesn't fit the spin that the MSM wants to put on gun control.
MSM doesn't report the news fairly. They only tell you what they want you to hear.
Because you aren’t suppose to be able to protect yourself. You have to have faith in the authorities like the 19 kids in Uvalde did while the dozens of heavily armed cops stood around arresting parents trying to rush into the school to save their kids.
Maybe you're just pretending. It made international news, and even a question or two on here! Yesterday.
Why aren't the pro-gun lobby boasting about the woman who killed an active shooter in West Virginia?
Here's the other one: Did all you "concealed carry won't stop mass shooters" people see this one? ↗
In the US, 53 people are killed with guns every day. Is the national news media supposed to report on every single firearm death?
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41488081
Besides, you can leave it to the right-wing propaganda machine to report these stories that account for probably 1 in 10,000 gun deaths the pump up the gun nuts.
Probably because nothing tragic really happened. Children weren’t involved and it’s not as news worthy. I hope that lady does get a reward for preventing yet another shooting
It doesn't fit the narrative.
Also, the potential murderer was black. The media will not run stories about black criminals.
Now if he was shot by a white cop given the same scenario, the media would be crucifying the white cop who saved lives.
Because the media only reports when guns are used for bad, never when they're used to save lives, that would go against their "agenda"..
Because unless it involves tragedy or the chance to further an agenda rather than serve as a counterpoint, it will fly under the radar and have to be sought when it comes to debates.
Because there's been too many occasions with people have been shot and because I honestly think the media is going to try and desensitize a lot of the public to seeing this so much that are you going to do is address it as oh man another shooting
Because it SLAYS the Democrat narratives about guns and about women. They can’t have citizens with concealed weapons doing something good or women not needing big daddy government to rescue them.
It has nothing to do with sex or gender or however you want to call it, it's because it reinforces the idea of the second amendment and that an armed population is a good deterrent.
For the same reason the horrifying NYC subway mass shooter story disappeared right quick. It didn't fit the Left Media Narrative.
Because the media is being used to show people how guns being misused in the worst scenario possible. Not what's constitutionally applicable.
Because it does not fit the Democrat gun violence narrative. It supports a good guy (gal) with a gun narrative.
It was covered in the UK, BBC and other news papers.
Because it didn't happen. At least not the way it is being suggested.
What do you mean?
I don;t know, but I would like to know whether she still has to face trial.. Did she kill him?
Because the texas school shooting is still a big thing and more newsworthy than that.
Because it contradicts the leftist narrative. It’s one of many examples of firearms saving lives.
It doesn't match the leftist media's take that guns are bad.
I heard about this despite being in the UK so I'm guessing it got reasonable coverage.
cause society doesn't like to hear about female perpetrators. just female victims.
We don’t need to promote “ladies you are capable strong”
yawn*
the world doesn’t need that
we all know we are capable of doing anything
It doesn't fit the narrative
Because the media only cares about promoting negativity in the world
Everything is going to hell where Red States are considering bringing back the stand your ground law
Because it goes against the liberal agenda of making everyone constantly terrified
Because it doesn’t fit the anti-gun narrative
Doesn't fit the naritive.
Probably because he wasn’t white.
Isn't it obvious?
