There are enough various types of lethal non air weapons that you can legally buy in the UK.

There is an element of being foolish in saying a school shooting would not happen here, it just takes one psycho with a moss berg to enter a school, backed up by say a single fire AR15 .223

Granted not as many people have a firearms certificate and for some firearms there is some tighter scrutiny, however it’s circa 560,000 firearms that require a certificate to be held.

While it only has a capacity for 3 shells, it’s still easy to load quickly and is legal.

It is also fairly easy to own and fire a 0.5 BMG rifle

In the UK, we use firearms for target shooting, clay, game and that’s about it, no one really buys a weapon for home defence.

The chances of another mass shooting happening are greatly reduced due to various regulations etc, however again it would be foolish to say it would not happen.

Having lived in Birmingham, you get used to Tac Police responding to a shooting.
