When a girl says your name in text is that a good sign?

Like I'll say just plain hey and she will text back with "Hey john :)" and when I say goodnight she says "talk to you later john :) goodnight". I don't like to read in to text tha much but are these good signs when a girl says your name in text?

Can't speak for women, but when I use a woman's name in conversation, be it verbally or in text; it is because I intentionally want to establish a personal connection. People like hearing their names. It makes them feel important. So when someone makes a deliberate attempt at saying or writing another's name, it catches the attention.

From my experience anyway, women who've repeatedly said or written my name while in conversation ended up liking me more than just a random acquaintance.

using your name a lot is more of a sign of interest when you talk in person. it is also something but ntohing big enough to base anything on look for more signs from her if you can that are not online

when you say somebodys name in a face to face conversation or in a text what your unconsiently doing is letting them know they got your attention, and that your not just a random guy, your john!

its something small but it is a sign that she might be interested and your not just a dude she met.

I've always thought it meant a little more. Like I would do that if I like a guy. I say its a good sign, but a big enough sign to get too excited about.

I always use a name in my texts/conversation and it means absolutely nothing.

Except it's a little weird unless you are required to use peoples names for a job where you deal with the general public.
