Does it mean anything when a girl does not say your name in chat or texts but you say her's?

I'm curious about this one cause some girls will say your name right away when they say hello. While others will just pretty much never put your name into a text. Or it will take them getting to know you more before they do.

Why do you think that is?

I honestly don't remember ever doing that. I wouldn't read to much into her not saying yours back maybe she just didn't want to feel like she was writing your name just because you wrote hers.

Do you only text the girls names to girls you like or you do it to people you are just friends with also?

Na I was just wondering why someone might do or not do it. I always just type thier names when I say hello. Sometimes it helps when I'm talking with multiple people. I do it for both.

I thought girls liked it when guys said their name.

Ok yeah it does seem to make it more personal somehow :-)... As long as the name is spelt correctly haha I have had people write my name but spelt it differently so made a bit different like they don't know me that well then :-).

You know what, I think this depends on the girl. I also experience this with my boyfriend. I always writes his name, and he usually don't say mine.
I think it's nice that you write the girls name :)

I don't think. I don't like using people name, it's really rare for me to use it. I think she isn't used to use people name in text and all.

It really depends of the girl.
Sometimes I do it, sometimes not, even if it's the same person. Guess it's just a mood.
But it can also be because she cares about you (or not).

Coming from my point of view. I have a very bad memory so if I'm talking to a lot of guys, yes lol I usually stay away from names not that I am a whore or anything like a tease but if I'm not officially dating I will continue talking to other guys

Then I would think that it is really weird of you to say my name in a conversation lol It wouldn't feel extra special to me just maybe a lill annoying if it happened a lot.

It's like, yeah I know my name pal and it should say my name in the contacts lol Just a simple hello is easiest and less formal I guess, more relaxed maybe? ^^

I'm not sure for me I always greet people with a polite hello jeff or a goodbye jenny. She also recently started copying that. I'm sure it means nothing but I thought it would make an interesting?
