What problems will I encounter if I go to North Korea and listen to a South Korean song?

I've visited the DRPK in 2019, and first thing is that right now you just can't visit because the country has suspended all travel since 2020.

Second thing, be careful about what you say or do - you will be under constant surveillance so study carefully the rules about contraband, photographing and comments about their political leadership.

They don't care. Foreigners imprisoned tend to be stuck there, and the ones that manage to leave, almost never come out ok.

I'm sorry to have to be an obvious stooge on this, but generally if you aren't a US, South Korean or Israeli citizen, you shouldn't be in any danger, usually.
I visited the country back in 2019 and got a warm treatment, although I do advise to be wary - the guides are often plainclothes police officers and they do keep you under strict surveillance.
Also expect that everything you are shown is built for two things - first give you the image of a Socialist utopia, and second to milk you out of as many money as possible.

Going to north korea is a.. guided experience.. If you just go in there, you will be killed. If you don't listen to their guidance, which would include playing music out loud, you'd likely be placed under arrest and forced to leave early. If you do not cooperate, you'd be killed.

Don’t think it matters. I’ve heard of “North Korean adventure vacations”. Hundreds of Americans have done it. Some are arrested for political capital for trumped up reasons. And give our state dept a stomach ache.
