Do you ever listen to foreign music to not have to listen to American music?

Question

I find that it helps me when I'm trying to avoid anything dealing with love songs because even if they are love songs, I don't understand what's being said, so I can enjoy it.

I guess that's a Bella Swan thing... if you've seen the movie New Moon then you know why I use Bella Swan as a reference.

I like especially like Latin music, a few French songs, and Japanese anime songs which don't always sound the best, but they're nostalgic for me. I don't listen to them to avoid American music. I just listen when I feel like it.
