Yes, and the more Republicans who join the race as the not-Trump vote divide that side of the conservative voter base and make it more likely that he wins the primary.

Nobody "more moderate" than Trump is winning the Republican primary. He and Ron DeSantis (who's more to the right) hold between 88 and 95% of support between the two of them depending on which source you draw from. Pretty much anyone else at this point is running for running mate.

The Democrats are up sh*t creek in terms of the presidential bid. It would take basically a grotesque act of internal sabotage of the Republicans (not beyond the realm of possibility since it just happened this last mid term cycle) or election tampering for Biden to win again, and so far the alternatives they've tried to push are somehow even less popular. Beyond pulling a cosmic miracle out of a hat, their best strategy is going to be just full voter disillusionment to keep fence-sitting or opposition voters from even showing up - a more valid strategy than it sounds, as they just did it to get Fetterman in office, but it requires the Republican nominee to be exceptionally bad in order to work.

Yes, if the Republicans don't screw it up. They shot themselves in the foot by pushing the abortion issue. There are RINO Republicans that want business as usual and see President Trump a a threat. He is not in the pocket of foreign governments or special interests. Right now he is ahead in the polls for both the primaries and the general election. Trump also recognizes that the days of in person paper ballots isa thing of the past and that elections are won more at the ballot boxes than on the campaign trail. He is planning on taking the new landscape into account this time.

In two more years the majority of Americans will be clamoring to go back to the good old days when gas was 2 bucks a gallon and inflation was 1.5 % .

He can win the Republican primary, but not sure about the General / National election. Personally, I think it's time to move on and go with DeSantis.

I just turned 18 and can vote in the next election I will vote for any candidate from either party EXCEPT Trump. He is an international embarrassment and it is all about him. Sorry to be so blunt but put urself in my shoes at my age... this country does not need him again. I am going to register as an independent and will vote for the best candidate in either party but never Trump.
