Why do some people hate Asian people?

I can't understand why some people hate Asians. I appreciate Asian cultures and was always welcomed by Asians. The person whom I love the most in the world is a beautiful, loyal, loving and caring Asian woman. I'm friends with many Asian men. Never had problem with Asians.

Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I can't understand why would anyone hate or think less of Asians.

Truth be told, I've never personally seen hardcore racist attitudes towards Asians (I've seen it only against whites, blacks and Muslims), but I'm sure there are people who hate Asians. But why? Have you ever seen a person like that?

And racism isn't about hatred. It just enables hatred. As it claims you can group people, blame people, and hate people. . . for who they identify as. And not for something they did or for something they said.

Why do racists not understand their own belief system?

Not many, the concept of anti Asian racism is very suspect as it is politicized by many different hegemonically opposed interests. Nor do I feel any significant indifference from Asians, I was raised by hard workers and recognize my own kind, no matter where they were born.

Because Asians hate everyone who doesn't look, think, talk or behave like them. I've been to Asia, and they don't even hide the fact that they're racist, because they don't see anything wrong with it. They think anyone who doesn't look, talk, think or behave like them is a lesser being and unworthy of the same treatment.

That's not my experience with them. I'm much more respected by Asians than I'm by my own. It's almost always other white people the ones who tell me I should be ashamed of my gender and skin color.

They still respect Whites more than blacks or Indians, but they still treat other Asians better, and a lot of then don't like White people either, especially Japanese. Koreans and SE Asians seen to like White people more

That is simply insular populism, we do the same thing. isn't America a melting pot? My point is not to counter yours, but to show that deep down, se all utilize the same biases. Christian churches do not pay tax, yet their charity is limited to the potential for recruitment. Seems like the same motus operandi to me.

That you find humour in that is a great thing. I have though about how meeting a Jaoanese woman would likely come to that in time and even how would I impress such a man. Then I realized, for all of Japanese cultures amazing dynamics, insular fundamentalism was not one of the virtues. You may tell him I said so if it gets hairy. Is she fantastic though, your lady? People can be goddamn misoxenists and xenophobes! They assume other are weird because they’re different and weird = bad. Maybe people hate the Asian accent or those slanted eyes? By the way, I’ve seen gays get hardcore biased attitudes as well.
