Access to healthcare and meds that could “basically” cure it. PEP -I think it’s called- renders it inactive enough to have unprotected sex. That’s “basically” cured in my book. Not really but kinda.

It's mostly because there are less treatments available in the African continent. Also, less people are diagnosed because they don't get tested.

I don't think it has to with anal sex. I really think it's because most people don't have access to treatments and sometimes they don't know that they're infected.
