We're not. We're telling them to go find the material elsewhere and we're making them curious about what's in the banned materials making them even more likely to go find it. And then they do so without the context that adults might be able to provide.

Just like prohibition did nothing to stop alcohol consumption, banning books does nothing.

Absolutely nothing. Banning books is censorship and control. It’s the government and school districts wanting to control what information they want us and our children to have access to.

It's less about protecting them and more about policing free thought.

exposure to things they don't know how to handle yet. There is age appropriate content.

It shouldn't be banning, but deferring until later. I read books that were really brutally impactful. Good idea to read those at a time one can process...

But it's ok to turn them loose in murderous video games... those are fun...

What do you mean by the word handle in this context? Sex is just people doing things with each other's bodies. There is nothing inherently evil in that at all unless you are a religious fanatic which I don't believe you are.

The lessons kids could learn from mine would be amazing but also I don’t think they should be seeing a 13 year old getting called a n**ger by a skeleton dude who doesn’t even have an actual mouth so I’m labeling my Conga Series PG-13.

Indoctrination and inappropriate content. Some of the books have sexual sexual content inappropriate for children. All the lgbt stuff and similar subjects are manipulative and also not suitable for children. Some books contain false claims related to history and biology. And more.

What kind of indoctrination? Who decides the content is inappropriate? And what way is that content inappropriate? What harm does it do? What you really mean is that you don't like the content and it makes you uncomfortable. That is just too goddamn bad. You don't get to decide what people do and don't look at. That includes children.

They don't want children to be educated. They want to be in charge of what children can learn about and what they can't. It is censorship.

Content not appropriate for children for example sometimes.

Other times, things SJWs finds offensive. A Norwegian children story / song named Vesle Hoa (Little Hoa) got banned here in Norway because it contains words sjws don't like.

The sleeping beauty chapter of Dr Doolittle got censored / banned because sjw types found it offensive 🤷‍♂️

Other than the fact that you don't like it what is it that makes content inappropriate in your opinion?

As someone else here mentioned, pornography? And other people clearly thinks modern kids can't handle seeing words SJWs don't like, if they didn't find it inappropriate to use those words, they would not ban / censor works that use them

What does "can't handle" mean? Sounds like you cannot "handle" it.

It means that SJWs are forcing their fake sensitivity onto kids and pretending modern kids can't tolerate words that were perfectly fine 20 years ago. Why do you think I can't handle them? Did I sound too much like a sjw pandering American leftist for you? I can handle theose things just fine, otherwise I would not have complained about sjws who find them offensive, would I?

For the most recent example I can think of, Disney banned The life and times of Scrooge McDuck chapter 11 because of a zombie. That is one of the most important chapters, and they banned it because of a zombie sent to haunt Scrooge for his biggest moral downfall, a moral downfall also used to partly explain why Donald's parents are not regular characters in the comics.

If you think banning books are bad, lend normal decensy a support and send Disney a email to unban that story,.
