Why has the world become a colder place?

Where men harshly reject women they don’t want, where neighbours barely know each other, nor would they help each other in times of trouble, where people ghost and use each other, where a person or animal is left bleeding or injured in the streets without anyone coming to their aid? Or where people won’t stand up for the elderly, the disabled or pregnant women on public transport? I see an overall lack of consideration for the feelings and needs of others that I feel unsettled and even angry about. I’m not saying everyone is like this. I’m saying some people are like this. I’ve seen them.

During my time, I'm not sure if any of that has changed. Maybe it has, but it's not obvious, at least not where I live.

Maybe that's one reason why after living in ten states all over the country, I chose to live the rest of my life in a place that many people would never consider. The reasons are subtle and hard to explain. OK, just about impossible to explain.

It's not like that at all where I live. We all know each other. If anyone ever needed help for any reason, it's 100% guaranteed that they would get help from multiple people.

Wanna make it better? Start with your own neighbor. It shouldn't be hard to find something to help them with. Or just invite them over for dinner. Don't leave it up to them.

It hasn't. It's actually reverted back to original climate patterns. One gut predicted that in the 2020s, California will go through a mini-ice age with more severe winters.

Because you have aged and experienced more and apparently it just hit you. It hit me at 22 but everyone is different.

It really does but I try not to focus upon it as it can bee overwhelming for me. I have no TV to give you an idea of how much I try to stay away from negativity.
