Do you think investing into stocks is the easiest way to get rich?

No. Especially not right now. It is certainly among the laziest ways but the chance of success is not very high and it more or less relies upon you to have money before you can make money so unless you are already rich its going to be very hard.

Probably easier to just make a company, work it until it becomes semi-successful with some employees and whatnot and then sell it for a few million dollars. Might take like 10-20 years though but unless you fuck up it should be a fairly guaranteed way to go about it.

@RockyHammock Programming and contracted road work ironically. The 2nd one would be dependent on your local government and their rules though. It is not that important what it is however, the point is to have a business already set up and ready to make money because most people with cash dont want to bother with the first few years of faffing around before everything is set up, or they are just looking to expand/buy their competition. Either way they will throw money at the problem and you can get a good price.

It's like betting on horses, but a little better. One of my buddies bought some stocks when they tanked during covid and made like $200,000. I'm pretty sure he started with less than $5000. He just happened to pick the right stocks at the right time. You have to know when to buy and sell. Thousands of people lose their ass on the stock market every day. If you don't know what you're doing, you will lose everything quick. Only invest what you can afford to lose until you know what you're doing.

No, no one I know with money did much with stocks, a quick flip on a buyout negotiation or buying up something that looks dead (think travel businesses in March 2020)

Business made most of them their early money then cash-bought real estate has been way then gold with the income from the renters

No the easiest would probably be to inherit it. Ya know, if that avenue is open to you.

You're best bet as a casual investor in the market is probably an index fund like VOO. It's earned an annual 12.96% over it's life. While the average index fund has earned 10.7%. Even still this will take many years. of investing to become rich unless you start with a vast amount of capital to begin with.

I'm not saying you can't make money trading stocks. But very few people do.

Hard and monthly income producing asset, that can be sold 2-4x purchase price in 15-30 years, is how one “gets rich”. Return rates are better than Fantasy Paper Market.

Real estate is market dependent though, some places have too high of barriers and others don't have good jobs around them so renter potential is low.
