It's the best way I know of. I've been investing in it for the past 25 years. And I've got about a 400% return in that time.

Bill Gates once asked Warren Buffet, "Considering your success, why don't more people follow your model?" And Warren responded, "because nobody wants to get rich slowly".

I'm not rich, but after 25 years. I now make more in the market then I do at my job. That either means I make peanuts at my job or I've done well in the market. I think both are true. But considering how stagnant wages have been over the past 25 years. I don't think this is unique to me. I will say this though. The one thing I wish I had understood better 25 years ago? INFLATION! My plan was to retire at 60 with a million. I'm still on pace to hit that goal. But projections say I'll need closer to 1.5 million by the time I'm 60. 500k to 650k would of been enough to retire on 25 years ago, so 1 million seemed like more than enough. I didn't take inflation into account.🤦‍♂️ a million is better than zero though. And considering the avg. person only retires with 200k. I'm still WAY AHEAD of the norm.

Yeah really. The typical return for the average person in the stock market is roughly 6-7% a year when adjusted for inflation. Rental real estate and many small businesses outperform that.
